Teen camp, "Upward and Onward": June 23-27, 2008 9:00-3:00
The "Upward and Onward Camp" is designed to expose the teens to many different scenarios in an effort to help them transition to independence as they move toward adulthood. Past activities have included: a visit to a college, a trip to the airport, practice riding public transportation, and an overnight stay at a campground, orientation and mobility challenges (on giant inflatables), and training on computers.
Middle school camp "Rising Stars", grades 5th-7th: August 11-13, 2008 9:00-2:00
New this year- the Rising Stars Camp camps includes middle school kids that have graduated from the children?s camp and are not yet old enough for our teen camp. Activities for the camp will center on fun sports activities that will teach the children coordination and mobility skills. Some activities will include, goal ball swimming and fishing.
Children's camp, "Out of Site Club", grades 1st-4th: July 21-25, 9:00-1:00
"Out of Site Club Camp" is geared for student in grades 1-4 the campers. They are invited to five days jam-packed full of education, support and fun. Along with fun, the younger students participate in activities that can include: movement through music, riding a train, swimming in a pool, climbing on and through huge inflatable objects, camping at a campground or various other field trips.
