Production Facility

The Production Facility at Tri-County Association for the Blind (TCAB) provides meaningful employment and on-the-job training for people who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise disabled in Central Pennsylvania throughout Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties. Our employees are often unable to compete in the open job market. Close supervision and proper training teaches them skills that enable them to make positive contributions to society and help them lead independent lives.

Our production facility also generates 78% of the revenue used for the annual operating budget. The revenue is used to fund all departments and provide blind and visually impaired services within TCAB. Some of those services we provide for our blind and visually impaired clients include prevention and education, social services and activities, low vision services, a radio reading station, and technology training.

Mail Services		Customized Pen & Highlighter Production
	TCAB offers comprehensive mail services that include black and white copy requirements, stuffing, collating, folding your documents, bulk sorting, CASS certification, etc. For more information, click here.		TCAB offers a personalized service from design to final product. We can help you custom design pens that suit the needs of your business. Pens are available in all styles and price ranges. Fulfillment Services		Packaging and Assembly
	Our production staff is available to meet all of your packaging needs and 2nd operation jobs. For more information, click here. Small Parts Repackaging		Warehouse Storage and Distribution
	We can separate bulk orders and sort, pack and barcode label the items and then ship to the final destination. Braille Transcription		Broadcasting Facilities & Recording Equipment
	We can convert any print material to Braille. Items can include: menus, instructions, announcements and meeting documents. We also provide web analysis services to make sites more user-friendly for the blind and visually impaired.		TCAB houses several professional recording studios where we can offer text to tape recording. We also offer high speed duplication and a full range of recording and duplicating services.
